Founded in 1996 as a Canadian, independent, owner-managed company, IntelliPulse is a full service public opinion and market research firm.

Our President is Margaret Buhlman. She has over 25 years experience in developing and using survey research as a strategic decision-making tool. Margaret has undertaken hundreds of quantitative and qualitative studies to provide advice on public policy issues, corporate image and social impact, product positioning, and employee and customer satisfaction research.

After completing her graduate degree in Political Science, Margaret’s first position with Statistics Canada provided her with grounding in applied survey research methods. Previous to starting IntelliPulse, Margaret had risen to the positions of General Manager and Executive Vice President of Decima Research. She has held Board positions with Women Entrepreneurs of Canada, Canadian Association of Marketing Research Organizations and the Canadian Survey Research Council, and is a member of the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association (MRIA). She holds the CMRP (Canadian Marketing Research Professional) designation.

Margaret is actively engaged in the volunteer community including social service and recreational organizations.
