Public Education Campaign

Situation: Our client needed to inform its customers about deregulation of utility rates and the impact on customers and their bills. A communications campaign was developed that included bill inserts and media advertising.
Method: Telephone surveys were undertaken among stratified samples of seven customer classes. Five separate surveys were undertaken throughout the two-year communications campaign.
Outcome: The research tracked changes in awareness and knowledge of deregulation, and awareness of the client’s communications. Guidance was provided on the next stage of communication messages.
